Let Me Share My Back Story...

You see, before puberty, I was super skinny, like not healthy skinny. I was a total tomboy and honestly never gave a second thought to my body.

After puberty, my body started to fill out, and that’s when everything changed. My mom thought I was getting fat and put me on my first diet at just 13 years old.

At 14, I had my first binge eating experience.

Enter: my eating disorder.

From that point on, my relationship with food became black and white. I believed there were only “good” foods and “bad” foods, and by extension, that I was either “good” or “bad” depending on what I ate.

Somewhere along the way, I internalized the message that being thin meant being lovable.


Thin = good.


Anything else = not enough.

This painful cycle consumed me for over three decades.

Three decades of fighting my body.

Three decades of feeling like I was never quite enough.

It wasn’t until I finally got sick and tired of pouring so much energy into food, body shame, and endless self-criticism that I realized something had to change.

I started doing the real work, shifting my mindset, repairing my relationship with food, and seeing my body through a lens of love instead of judgment.

And you know what?

Once I truly wanted to heal, the journey happened faster than I ever thought possible.
